300 Reasons to Love Québec City

Discover Québec City as you’ve never seen it before.

For author Mélanie Jean, Québec City is not only the place where she was born and raised, but also the place she always returned to, even after traveling to the four corners of the globe. Over the years, she has watched the city grow, flourish, and open itself to the world. It was only natural that one day she would create a complete guide to the city she loves so deeply.

Her true passion for photography and her desire to make it a profession began in 2017 when she started exploring every corner of the city to capture its most beautiful treasures. The following year, she launched the Instagram account ilovequebeccity, which today has more than 55,000 followers.

It was also that same year that she discovered the book collection “300 Reasons to Love,” including the edition dedicated to London. A dream then began to take shape: why not 300 Reasons to Love Québec City?

After several years of perseverance and belief in this project, the book finally became a reality in 2026. More than an invitation to explore the city, it is, for the author, a true declaration of love.

This book will also introduce you to fascinating people with remarkable journeys and stories, all of whom have contributed to making Québec City the unique place it is today.
