It explains why we try to offer our clients services and benefits in line with our vision of eco-responsibility and sustainability without compromising the experience&#8217;s comfort and quality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">H\u00f4tel Nomad measures and offsets its greenhouse gas emissions (scope 1 &amp; 2, partially 3) since 2021. Although essential, reducing and eventually eliminating our GHG emissions are only one part of our approach to minimizing the hotel&#8217;s ecological footprint. To further formalize its commitment to sustainable development, in 2023, H\u00f4tel Nomad became the first hotel in Quebec City to obtain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biospheresustainable.com\/en\/community\/hotel-nomad\/4235\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biosph\u00e8re Sustainable Lifestyle certification<\/a>. Consequences: Most of our local trips are now made in electric mode, and GHG emissions linked to this item have fallen by 37%<\/li>\n<li>Installation of an electric vehicle charging station in the private parking lot of the Nomad Hotel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Preference to local SMEs, short circuits, and eco-responsible companies<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Laundry.<\/li>\n<li>Linen.<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning and maintenance company.<\/li>\n<li>Use of all-natural care products:\u00a0 Oneka \u00c9l\u00e9ments.<\/li>\n<li>Purchase of products from local producers.<\/li>\n<li>Support of the MIRA Foundation through its printer cartridge recycling program.<\/li>\n<li>Use of the services of Recyclage Vanier, a social economy enterprise focused on employment and training.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the WWF.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As individuals, driven by the spirit of curiosity and sharing, we are concerned about the fate of our planet; as entrepreneurs, we have to act.
